Infant and Toddler Nursery

Year-round care for children from birth to steady walkers during both Friday services and the Sunday evening service in our Nursery 1 behind Main Hall 1. Pagers are given to parents so that they may be contacted if they are needed.

As a part of our Children Desiring God curriculum, we have implemented a special section called, A Sure Foundation, for our youngest children. When you leave your child in the nursery, he or she will be prayed for by name. Prayer topics and verses will be posted on the nursery walls so that our volunteers can focus their prayers for your child. Our prayer is that your children will see glimpses of the greatness of God through the ministry of the godly people who care for them!

For children who are steadily walking but have not yet turned 3 years old, we offer a special toddler nursery during both Friday services. A Sure Foundation is the curriculum used with this age. The goal is to present great truths about God in very simple words, to show glimpses of who God is through the telling of key Bible stories, and to repeat those stories and basic truth statements over and over with the prayer "that the next generation...would put their trust in God" Psalm 78:1-7. (Pagers are given to parents so that they may be contacted if they are needed.)

Little Lambs (ages 3-6)

Friday mornings
8:30 am and 10:15 am
1st floor, ECC church complex

We use Hands On Bible curriculum for our Little Lambs group both the 8:30am and 10:15am services. HOB is just that — hands-on! Kids dive in and get involved, learning as they explore and engage. We use fun, real-world objects to teach Bible truths. HOB lessons focus on one specific Bible Point, and use a variety of activities to reinforce that message. The goal is to send children home with one life-applicable piece of Bible truth each week.

Kingdom Kids (ages 7-11)

Friday mornings
8:30 am and 10:15 am
1st floor, ECC church complex

Children Desiring God is the curriculum used with our Kingdom Kids group in both Friday services. Each Friday, we will be using a module entitled “How Majestic is Your Name,’ where God’s character is communicated in the hundreds of names progressively revealed in the Bible. This curriculum focuses not just on the many names and titles of God but presents glorious truths about God and encourages students to see and rejoice in His goodness and greatness.

AWANA (September 27 - late May)

If you are interesting in signing up your child(ren) to our AWANA club, please email Jess at for more information and a link to our registration form. All clubbers should wear regular shoes—no sandals or Crocs please! The schedule is as follows:

Sunday evenings
5:45 pm–7:30 pm
ECC church complex

AWANA, derived from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed from 2 Timothy 2:15 is an international organization whose mission is to help churches and parents raise children and youth to know, love, and serve Christ.

We have clubs for children ages 3–14 which meet throughout the school year. The components of the program include a handbook time where clubbers review and recite Bible memory verses, a large group time where biblical lessons are taught to a large group, and games time where children and youth play team games designed to promote healthy competition and teamwork.
